What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer (3 years exp. reqd) position at Newbold Stone Architectural Concrete?
What You’ll Do
- Create simple and complex formwork for precast concrete.
- Mix and cast concrete pieces
- Finish concrete with trowel or broom finish
- Process pieces by hand using grinders, polishers, and other finishing tools.
- Follow procedures to apply sealing chemicals to concrete.
- Keep work area organized and equipment clean
- Follow safety and quality standards daily
- Assist with installations as necessary. Installs can be out of town, so some overnight stays will be required. (~<25 nights/yr)
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years’ experience in concrete slab and finishing work.
- Able to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet all day
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Millwork or cabinet making experience preferred (not required)
- Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
