Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-merchandised
- Maintain knowledge of store inventory levels, perform stock replenishment, and assist with inventory management
- Support cashiering duties with phone etiquette and efficient checkout procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory counts
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively
- Experience in grocery stores or similar environments is advantageous but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings
