Position Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing all routine and scheduled MRI examinations while providing exceptional care and service to patients. This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with additional scheduled hours and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
- Review and verify orders prior to procedures
- Enter and process procedure requests accurately
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Requirements
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Completion of MRI competency requirements
- MRI registry eligible, with completion required within one (1) year of hire
- ARRT registered (RT[R]), MRI preferred but not limited
- SCQRSA license (as required)
- Current BLS certification
Experience
- Venipuncture experience required
