Job Summary

The Central Processing Technician manages the process of proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment for the hospital.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have previous experience in a similar position or be a certified surgical technician
  
  

Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations

• Certification in surgical technology (CST) OR Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST)
