Person in charge retail grocery

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members during evening shifts
• Ensure the store is fully stocked, faced, and ready for the next day
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues professionally
• Manage closing procedures including registers, safe counts, and deposit verification
• Oversee completion of nightly cleaning and task checklists
• Delegate responsibilities and follow up to ensure timely completion
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Enforce store policies and ensure safety and security procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Prior retail, grocery, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
