Starting pay is $30/hour.
Neway Stamping & Manufacturing, Inc., an industry leader and global supplier of short to medium-run metal components with approximately 80 employees located in Willoughby, is seeking an experienced and/or apprentice form and punch tooling/die Set-Up Operator for 1st shift.
The position requires setting up single hit brake press tooling and custom forming and punching dies in a CNC Brake Press and stamping presses ranging from 35 to 200 ton capacity. We will also train those candidates that have a strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning this role.
- Problem solving and decision making capabilities.
- Knowledge of metal forming and stamping a plus.
- Knowledge of programming Trumpf CNC Brake Press or similar a plus.
- QC experience is a plus.
Pay Rate is based on skills and experience. Those with significant punch press or brake press die/tooling set up experience will start at $30/hr. Apprentice candidates will start at $20/hr or more depending on their experience.
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment for 1 year’s operating a machine, have previous set up experience, specifically die set up, piercing and forming, conducting visual inspections and/or in a general labor capacity, steady work history with good references.
