We are now interviewing for a full-time, on-site Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a dynamic veterinary compounding pharmacy located in Bear, Delaware. the pharmacy technician will play a crucial role in various operations across the entire pharmacy, including both nonsterile and sterile compounding. Your responsibilities will also encompass filling prescription orders, preparing shipments, maintaining a clean pharmacy environment, and assisting with any tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of our facility, which serves customers across the country. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment. They must also be willing to learn and grow with the company. REQUIRED Qualifications/responsibilities:
- This is an entry-level position. Pharmacy experience is not required. We will provide full training.
- Full-time, on-site position. Working every weekday, off on weekends and major holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- During your employment you will need to become a certified technician (CphT). We will help you through the process.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Shows a willingness to learn and grow through feedback
PREFERRED Qualifications/responsibilities:
- This is an entry-level position. Pharmacy experience is preferred, but we are interviewing those with or without this experience.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred, not required
-Over time, you will need to become certified while working if you are not already certified.
- Experience in nonsterile and sterile compounding preferred, not required
- Proficiency in invoicing procedures, verifying orders before pharmacist check
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well in a team
