Job Summary
The Middle School Cross Country Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of the cross country program. The coach provides instruction in running techniques, conditioning, race strategies, and sportsmanship while fostering teamwork, perseverance, and personal growth. Responsibilities include conducting practices, coaching at meets, monitoring student eligibility and behavior, communicating with students and families, and ensuring compliance with district, league, and school policies. The coach promotes a safe and positive environment for student-athletes and serves as a positive role model while supporting their academic and athletic development.
