Middle School Math/Science Teacher

The Newark Street School, serving students in 2nd-8th grade, seeks a full time middle school math and science teacher to join our school community. The candidate selected will be a middle school teacher who is passionate about working with all students in core content areas in the classroom, outdoors, and in the community. The candidate will value and contribute to community health and wellness, as well as authentic, experiential learning. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467. The candidate will be part of a teaching team including other teachers, special educators and interventionists. The team’s PLC co-planning time is dedicated to rigorous core instruction and personalized learning as outlined in the Newark Street School's Continuous Improvement Plan. Expertise in co-planning, integrating project-based learning, transferable skills with research-based mathematics and science instruction is a requirement. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students.
