Job Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: • This position is competitive but currently qualifies under the NY HELPS provision and may be filled from an eligible list established by Wayne County Civil Service. The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work well with other people; must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, poise and firmness; professional in attire and actions; be reliable, honest and prompt; knowledgeable of computers, office equipment and modern office practices; must have the ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to analyze situations and adopt an effective course of action; type a minimum of 50 words/minute; well versed in the use of the English language; familiarity or experience with Public Educational structure, regulations and procedures; must have superior organizational skills.
Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees)
