Certification Requirements
- NYS Coaching Certification or NYS Physical Education
- NYSED approved Certification in CPR/AED & First Aid
(Applicants need not be certified at time of application but must be certified by beginning of season and before being appointed by BOE.)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of specific sport
- Understanding of adolescent development
- Ability to articulate the vision and mission of the program
- Sets high expectations for self and student athletes
