What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at New York Yacht Club?
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
Responsible for doing all dishes, pots and pans as needed. Will keep dish area
clean and organized. Responsible for the removal of all trash and boxes (being
sure to break up the boxes). Will follow a daily list of duties and will show
incentive by cleaning whatever is necessary without always having to be told.
Will follow closing procedures.
Tasks-
· Do all pots, pans and dishes
as needed
· Keep dish area clean and
organized and put pots, pans, dishes, etc. in their proper places when cleaned
· Follow daily cleaning list
and clean whatever else needs to be cleaned
· Will keep floors clear of
debris throughout the day and will mop as needed
· Will remove trash when
needed
· Will follow closing
procedures so that kitchen is left properly cleaned at end of day
· Will perform whatever task
requested by chef’s, steward or management
· Will assist in the
preparation of food as needed
· Will work well with other
staff
· Will be punctual
· Will be neat and clean
· Treats all fellow employees
with respect and courtesy.
· Display a fun and positive
attitude.
· Maintain work environment.
· Assist in the administration
of club safety program. Assist in other departments when necessary
