We're partnering with a stable and growing manufacturing company seeking a Systems Administrator with 4 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments, including Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, and Windows Server in a Systems Admin Role. This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical IT systems, contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts, and make a visible impact within a collaborative manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure while providing advanced technical support to end users. You'll manage Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server environments, and both physical and virtual infrastructure. You'll also play a key role in system upgrades, technology initiatives, security improvements, and ongoing infrastructure optimization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Server environments
- Support physical and virtual server infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
- Administer user accounts, permissions, access controls, and security policies
- Troubleshoot and maintain network-connected devices including switches, printers, and storage systems
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and technology improvement initiatives
- Monitor system performance, security, and compliance while implementing IT best practices
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources
- Utilize PowerShell and automation tools to improve efficiency and streamline administration tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Approximately 4-8 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments, including Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NTFS permissions, DFS, and Hyper-V
- Experience supporting server hardware and enterprise IT infrastructure
- PowerShell scripting experience preferred
- Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment is preferred
