Job Title: SQL DBA with Azue

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite – Hybrid – 3 days in a week)

Manager Notes:

• Strong SQL Server core DBA, SME for AlwaysON, must have extensive SQL 2022 experience, any experience with migration to 2025 will be huge plus.
• Strong Data center migration experience from older to newer version is the key here.
• Encryption has always been a huge part of the requirement.

To be considered a good technical fit, you must have:

• A minimum of 10years of experience managing a team of database engineers
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing medium/large enterprise database platforms
• Expert knowledge of SQL Server features, functionality, and performance optimization techniques
• Strong knowledge of cloud database solutions, such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, RedShift, and Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of open-source database solutions, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, T-SQL, and creating and tuning stored procedures, functions, and SSIS packages
• Strong knowledge of reporting strategies and solutions such as SSRS, Power BI, and Tableau
• A deep understanding of building and enforcing standards around how data is modeled, managed, and protected as a critical firm a
• Strong knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Git
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
• Operational knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and automation of SDLC processes
• Analytical skills – the ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions
• Detailed documentation skills – the ability to represent ideas, requirements, reference architecture, and problems in clear, concise, and business-friendly documents.
