JOB SUMMARY:
Repair Design Engineer to support aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation.
Primary Structures : fuselage (body of aircraft), wings, empennage (tail section), nacelles (engine housings), flight control surfaces.
Secondary Structures: (Fairings & Fillets, Cowlings, Control Surfaces, Doors, Winglets & Leading Edges)
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience in Repair design with CATIA V5 and GD&T of Aero structures metallic and/or composite structures
• Engineering release/change control, repair substantiation.
- Prior Experience with onworking on shop floor or interested working
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.
• Preferred: Fuselage, nacelle, pylon product knowledge.
