We are seeking an experienced Data Governance / Data Quality Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide data governance and data quality frameworks. This role will partner with business and technology teams to drive data standards, establish governance policies, and ensure high-quality, reliable, and trusted data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Lead the development of data quality strategies, scoring models, rules, and monitoring processes.
Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and SMEs to ensure consistent data management practices.
Establish metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging processes using enterprise tools.
Conduct assessments to identify data quality issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Architect data governance workflows, approval processes, and stewardship models.
Work closely with data engineering, BI, and application teams to ensure adherence to data standards.
Evaluate and recommend data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon/EDC, Alation).
Develop dashboards and reports highlighting data quality KPIs, metrics, and improvement progress.
Drive adoption of governance best practices across the enterprise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management.
Strong understanding of data architecture, master data management, and metadata management.
Experience designing data quality frameworks, rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
Knowledge of data modeling, data lineage, and enterprise data integration concepts.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work across business and technical teams.
Experience in financial services, insurance, retail, or healthcare (preferred).a
Nice to Have:
Certifications in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of AI/ML-driven data quality optimization
