This position is ideal for a highly organized professional with a proven track record of supporting an active legal practice. The ideal candidate possesses strong administrative and legal support skills, excels at multitasking, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, clerical, and legal support to attorneys
- Prepare, format, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Assist attorneys with case management and scheduling
- Maintain organized filing systems and case records
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform general office duties including photocopying, scanning, and document management
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general Microsoft Office
- Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM with accuracy
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Professional telephone and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Notary Public certification
Pay: $52,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
