Position Description:
The Board of Education of the Southampton UFSD is accepting applications for this key leadership role in the 1,336 student Pre-K – 12 school district, located in the Town of Southampton, on the South Fork of Long Island, approximately 100 miles east of New York City. The Board is seeking an experienced, energetic educational leader who has the following characteristics:
- One who fosters collaboration, builds consensus, and inspires greatness and accountability
- Experience in navigating and implementing the philosophies under Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity, ELL/Dual Language Programs, and Curriculum and Technology advancement
- Someone with a strong commitment to academic excellence, who possesses outstanding communication skills
- Adept fiscal awareness for budget analysis and labor relations/contract negotiations
