What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLE Registrar position at New York State Bar Association?
The New York State Bar Association, a non-profit, professional membership organization based in Albany, NY, is seeking a full-time Continuing Legal Education Registrar who will provide administrative support to the Assistant Director of Meetings and Events, and the Continuing Legal Education Department. The CLE Registrar maintains accreditation files and compliance for New York State and other MCLE jurisdictions, including issuance of MCLE forms.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Process attestation forms and issue MCLE certificates for live CLE programs; Serve as the primary point of contact for out-of-state accreditation, including processing MCLE credit requests for other jurisdictions; handling incoming calls regarding CLE certificates and program participation; processing incoming mail; generating and sending invoices for on-site registrations; processing programs payments maintain licenses and related reports for out of state accreditation; and, assist with program access.
Three (3) to five (5) years of customer service and/or administrative service experience is required. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of Office applications is required. Proficiency in other NYSBA software such as Fonteva/Salesforce, and CE21 are preferred. Strong organizational skills are required. A High School diploma is required. An Associate’s degree in Business is preferred.
The NYSBA offers an excellent salary and benefit package. A hybrid office/remote schedule may be available.
Pay: $25.03 - $30.15 per hour
