We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is critical to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and effective support for both club-level and corporate operations.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing monthly close activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and supporting audits. This individual will handle a variety of revenue, expenses, fixed assets, debt, and cash-related accounting functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results. The role also includes assisting with ad hoc analysis and projects to support business decision-making.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is critical to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and effective support for both club-level and corporate operations.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing monthly close activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and supporting audits. This individual will handle a variety of revenue, expenses, fixed assets, debt, and cash-related accounting functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results. The role also includes assisting with ad hoc analysis and projects to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.
- Prepare and record journal entries including accruals, amortizations and allocations using Oracle NetSuite Financials.
- Analyze and reconcile accounts related to general & administrative, direct, and indirect expenses.
- Maintain debt schedules, interest calculations, and record debt-related journal entries for short and long-term debt.
- Manage financed equipment schedules and related journal entries for short and long-term debt reporting.
- Prepare and file sales and use taxes for each legal entity and provide support for related audits.
- Analyze utilities spend and calculate monthly expense accruals due to seasonality.
- Prepare account schedules and support balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Record cash activity and reconcile bank accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure accurate expense reporting.
- Partner with respective departments to address club Profit & Loss statement questions from field management.
- Support corporate partner revenue accounting, including reconciliations, invoicing, and collections follow-up.
- Support annual audit, interim testing, and provide necessary schedules to external auditors.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- 5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location service-based industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close accounting experience.
- Experience with NetSuite Financial systems (or similar ERP) strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
