Responsibilities:

-Main responsibilities are of principle Ophthalmic Photographer: experienced in fluorescein angiography and proficient on the Heidelberg Spectralis HRA OCT2 Multicolor

- Assist ophthalmologists in providing patient care
- Perform preliminary eye examinations and tests, such as visual acuity, visual field, and tonometry
- Prepare patients for examinations, including taking medical histories and measuring vital signs
- Administer eye drops or medications as directed by the physician
- Obtain ophthalmic photography on every patient to the specifications of the physician
- Clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the clinic
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using EMA
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and terminology
- Understanding of ocular anatomy, physiology, and common eye conditions
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical office setting
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems, such as EMA
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other staff members
