Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in New York, NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal and related conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans as needed. The role involves educating patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term health strategies, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and contribute to a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice to musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience in Rehabilitation, including designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to restore functional mobility.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including clear communication, empathy, and patient education.
- Ability to support patients through Home Care programs, including developing and monitoring home exercise and self-management plans.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical software or EMR systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload.
