About The Role
The New York Philharmonic seeks a highly organized and collaborative Associate Director, Brand Marketing to join its dynamic Marketing team. This role is central to how creative projects come to life—from campaign concepts and design through to production and delivery. You’ll partner closely with teams across the Philharmonic to keep projects on track, aligned with our brand, and delivered on time.
Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this role will also help support the day-to-day management of the Brand Marketing team, helping to prioritize work, maintain momentum, and ensure a high standard of execution across projects. You’ll also play an important role in improving how we work streamlining processes, strengthening communication, and helping the team operate more efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day
- Manage the full lifecycle of marketing projects, from intake through delivery
- Oversee timelines, schedules, and project prioritization across campaigns and initiatives
- Supervise creative projects across subscription, single ticket, and institutional projects
- Serve as the main point of contact for design requests from teams across the organization
- Partner with designers, writers, digital teams, and external vendors to execute projects
- Track progress and ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards
- Manage project workflows and tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable) to improve visibility and efficiency
- Coordinate production of multi-channel advertising, including digital, outdoor, broadcast, and print
- Support existing and cultivate new brand-marketing partnerships
- Help identify workflow improvements and implement more effective ways of working
- Contribute to planning by forecasting timelines, workload, budget expenses, and resource needs
What you Bring to the Team
- 7 to 10 years of experience managing marketing or creative projects, ideally in a fast-paced or mission-driven environment
- At least 3 to 5 years managing or co-managing a team preferred.
- Strong understanding of marketing campaign workflows across print and digital channels
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities at once
- Proficiency with project management tools and systems
- Experience working with external vendors and agencies
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar)
- Experience in performing arts, media, or nonprofit organizations
- Familiarity with audience engagement or ticketed event marketing
- Budget tracking experience
- A strong project manager who brings clarity and structure to complex work
- Collaborative and solution-oriented, with a focus on keeping things moving
- Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
- A clear, effective communicator who works well across teams.

Salary : $108,000 - $130,000
