Location: Baldwin Park, CA
Hours: M-F: 8AM – 5PM; 1 hour lunch
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrange production schedules based on the production orders and plan the operations according to product types, quantities, specifications, and order delivery dates
- Assist to manage all material resources needed for productions and assure the products in good qualities and match specifications.
- Maintain the production and operating reports to assure the processes are efficient and effective
- Coordinate with other production supervisors and QA/QC workers to assure the production procedures meeting FDA, GMPs, USDA, and ISO quality standards.
- Conduct trainings for all production employees
- Assist factory manager to resolve employee relation issues, recruitment needs, and benefit questions.
- Assist to supervise QA/QC team for lab testing and sample tasting
- Coordinate with sales team for supplying trade show products, nutrition information, and product labels.
- Work with all manufacturing functions to assure health and safety guidelines are fully implemented, the production lines are constantly sanitized, and the work environment is well cleaned.
- Assist manager with office duties such as 401K, ADP, and etc.
- Attend Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
- Report and respond to all management as requested
- Other duties as required from office and VP
Physical Requirements
- Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to handle and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Working Conditions

Other Requirements
- Basic level English required– read/write/speak/listen
- Basic level Japanese required– read/write/speak/listen
- Holds a current and valid drivers license
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or other relevant fields required
- 5 years of food or related production management or supervising experience required
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong mathematical knowledge – candidate is required to pass designated mathematics test
- Problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
