Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care through patient-centered evaluations, diagnoses, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that emphasize preventive care, lifestyle modification, and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate closely with NYMVCare specialists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on wellness, health maintenance, and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient interactions in our electronic medical record system.
- Participate in practice quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings.
- Engage in continued professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in primary care and internal medicine.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified (or board-eligible) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a closely related specialty.
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New York.
- Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
