What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service position at New York Jets?

The New York Jets are actively seeking an Account Executive to join their Ticket Sales team. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced seller who is looking to take the next step in their career. This individual is expected to be an exceptional salesperson who will provide excellent customer service and ensure our fans have a great experience. 

 Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate new revenue through cold calling, prospecting, and conducting in-person appointments
  • Meet and exceed new Season Ticket and Group sales targets
  • Consistently meet and exceed hustle metrics on a daily and weekly basis
  • Build strong relationships with current Season Ticket Members 
  • Meet and exceed annual Season Ticket Member renewal targets
  • Develop relationships through consistent touch points, including: outbound calls, emails and text messages, servicing inbound calls, seat visits, and any other special events offered
  • Meet regularly with Director of Ticket Sales and Manager of Ticket Sales to continue learning and developing
  • Ability to work all home games and prospecting events throughout the year
  • Maintain a constant high level of professionalism with all clients and prospects
  • Actively participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing training
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-energy sales team environment
 
Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of sales experience with a professional sports organization required 
  • History of consistently hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong oral communication and telephone skills
  • Exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, eagerness to learn and a passion for the sports industry
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales

    Salary range for this role: USD $40,000 - $44,000 per year and discretionary annual company bonus, dependent on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate.  Company benefit programs for full-time employees include: robust medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible-spending and dependent-care account options, company-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurance plans, with additional voluntary supplemental term life & AD&D insurance options, and a variety of other health & wellbeing offerings; 401k plan participation (after 500 hours of service) with company-match and discretionary employer-funded defined contribution; PTO, sick time, paid maternity/parental leave; and access to tickets and parking for all New York Jets home games.
