We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team at New York Institute of Technology's Long Island campus. As a Barista, you will be responsible for operating and serving coffee beverages, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Service: Serve high-quality coffee beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, cold brew machine, and coffee brewers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks on espresso machines, cold brew machines, coffee brewers, and other related coffee equipment.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or Equivalent, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to perform basic mathematics, and advanced computer skills (outlook, Microsoft word, excel, basic computer knowledge).
