NURSE PRACTITIONER – INPATIENT DIABETES SERVICE (LONG ISLAND, NY)

What You’ll Do
- Manage inpatient hyperglycemia/diabetes care in collaboration with endocrinology and hospitalist teams
- Initiate and adjust insulin regimens (basal/bolus, correction scales), manage hypoglycemia protocols
- Provide diabetes education and discharge planning support
- Coordinate care with nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, and case management
- Document efficiently and follow evidence-based hospital protocols

Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York
- NP certification (FNP/AGACNP/ACNP accepted based on role needs)
- Inpatient experience preferred (endocrinology/diabetes or hospital medicine a plus)
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
