Job Description
Practice Administrator
Location: East New York
Organization: New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS)
In This Role, You Will
- Manage clinical and administrative staff and procedures.
- Create employee work schedules, monitor budgets, and maintain patient records.
- Ensure compliance with state laws, regulations, and NYCBS policies.
- Monitor physician schedules and follow up with patients for appointments.
- Communicate new policies and updates to employees.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to address issues and needs.
- Respond to questions from doctors, employees, and patients in a timely manner.
- Ensure employees provide excellent care and customer service to all patients.
- Confirm co-pays are collected
- Bachelors Degree-Required, Masters Preferred
- Minimum of 3 yr office management experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suites
- 3 yrs working out of an EMR
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary: $125,000/per year, commensurate with experience and education.
