Job Description
Mammography Technologist
Location: Westhampton, NY
Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

In This Role, You Will
- Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Assist with stereotactic biopsies.
- Track inventory and manage supply orders.
- Provide courteous and professional explanations of procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce accurate, high-quality images.
- Process images and review them for proper identification and quality control.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Orient and train new hires.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
- A minimum of one year of continuous experience in Mammography.
- Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Availability to work daytime weekday hours.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Salary: Up to $46 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
- Work Schedule: 4-day workweek.
