This position is responsible for processing of prescriptions for hemophilia treatment centers for the purpose of treating patients with bleeding disorders.
Education:
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $70.00p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.

- Ensures compliance of all policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations as they relate to this position.
- Processes prescriptions from hemophilia treatment centers.
- Schedules workload for optimization of resources.
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Keeps drugs and supplies neat and orderly.
- Daily and monthly review of refrigeration temperature logs. Monitor any temperature change that would impact product integrity.
- Maintains a working relationship among physicians and nurses and assists hemophilia patients and their families in understanding the products and methods of treatment.
- Makes recommendations for improvement of business units processes and practices.
- Attends professional development workshops as required.
- Any related duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy .
- Five years’ experience in hospital/healthcare pharmacy.
- New York State Pharmacist License.
- Current on continuing educational (CE) credits.
