Drivers - $22.50-$25/hr
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our team at New World Van Lines. As a crucial member of the New World Van Lines team, this position will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting household goods and possessions between destinations. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of driving experience and a spotless safety record, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Operates the company vehicle by maintaining the safety of the motoring public, self, and company equipment.
- Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck and in a customer’s home, ensuring proper handling and care throughout the transportation process.
- Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Ability to travel with an overnight stay
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize route planning and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or equipment.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Driver's License for one (1) year with a clean driving record in accordance with state laws.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry.

- Physical ability to load, secure, and unload household goods as needed.

Physical Requirements:

- Comfortable with physical exertion, including bending, twisting, and maneuvering in confined spaces.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Mover. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, packing, and delivery of furniture to our valued customers' homes, as well as handling shipments within our warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess physical strength, excellent teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in safely loading and unloading furniture and household goods onto and off the moving truck, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transit.
- Pack and wrap furniture items securely to prevent damage during transportation, utilizing appropriate padding, blankets, and packing materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with customers during the delivery process.
- Safely operate dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move heavy and bulky items, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck's interior and exterior, as well as the warehouse, to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
- Load and unload shipments within the warehouse, ensuring accurate item count, proper storage, and efficient organization.
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling fragile or valuable items, and communicate any potential issues or concerns to the Operations Manager, General Manager, or Warehouse Manager.

- Assist Driver with all backing/maneuvers of the truck.
- Adhere to schedules and timelines to ensure on-time deliveries and pick-ups, demonstrating punctuality and dependability.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in furniture moving, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of packing techniques and materials to ensure the safe transport of items.
