We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Clinical Assistant Lead Nurse to oversee and coordinate patient care activities within a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to promote professional growth. Provide discipline when needed.
- Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accurate and timely records.
- Oversee clinical procedures such as patient care medication administration while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Manage utilization review, discharge planning, and case management processes to optimize patient care pathways.
- Ensure adherence to nursing policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards across all clinical activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and administrative staff to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as ECW for documentation, order entry, and data management.
- Moniter supplies and vaccines (VFC)
Skills
- Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems like ECW
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing nursing teams within outpatient settings.
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques including vital signs measurement, physical examinations, and specimen collection/processing..
- Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and patient/family education on topics like dementia care or behavioral health.

Pay: $28.69 - $41.00 per hour
