Creative & Community Internship at Queer Media Company

New Wave is looking for a creative, passionate intern who wants to help build a queer-led creative agency from the ground up. This isn’t the kind of internship where you’ll be grabbing coffee or sitting quietly in meetings. If you’re a self-starter who loves taking ownership of projects, testing new ideas, and seeing them through from concept to execution, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll work directly with me on everything from social media and content creation to event production, public relations, partnerships, and brand strategy. If you’re curious about the entertainment industry and want hands-on experience building a brand and producing meaningful community events, this is an opportunity to learn by doing.

Some things you’ll help with:

• Creating social media content and recurring content series
• Event planning and production
• Pitch decks and sponsorship proposals
• PR and media outreach
• Creative brainstorming
• Community partnerships
• General administrative support as we grow
