New Wave Janitorial LLC is looking for a dependable, responsible, and hands-on Crew Leader to lead and support our cleaning crews. The Crew Leader will be responsible for making sure the team is where they need to be, when they need to be there, and that every property is cleaned to New Wave Janitorial LLC’s standards.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong leadership skills, communicates well, and is willing to lead by example.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee your assigned cleaning crew throughout the week.
- Make sure all crew members arrive at the correct location and on time.
- Know the weekly cleaning schedule, assigned units/properties, and job expectations.
- Make sure the crew has all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and organize keys needed for assigned properties and units.
- Help coordinate the crew and make sure everyone understands what needs to be completed.
- Work alongside the crew and actively help with cleaning when needed.
- Inspect completed work to make sure it meets New Wave Janitorial LLC’s quality standards.
- Make sure cleaning is done correctly and thoroughly the first time.
- Address cleaning issues or missed areas and make sure they are corrected.
- Communicate with management regarding schedules, supplies, property issues, or crew concerns.
- Hold yourself and your crew accountable for being dependable, professional, and respectful.
- Help train and guide crew members on proper cleaning procedures and company expectations.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients and property staff.
- Report any damages, maintenance concerns, or other issues noticed while cleaning.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or crew-lead experience is a plus.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and lead a team.
- Attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Willing to work alongside the crew and lead by example.
- Able to handle keys, supplies, schedules, and multiple properties responsibly.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
