New Wave partners with national brands and community organizations to run high-energy outreach events throughout the Tampa Bay area. Our team specializes in in-person engagement inside retail environments, community hubs, and local event venues.

About the Role
As a Junior Event & Team Lead Trainee, you will support and lead onsite event teams, interact with attendees, and help drive community engagement for our partners. This is an entry-level role with a clear pathway into team lead, event manager, and outreach coordinator positions.
This is not remote, not door-to-door, and not commission-only. This is a full-time W-2 position with paid training and consistent weekly pay.
What You’ll Do
- Support and coordinate live outreach events across the Tampa Bay area
- Engage with attendees to share program information and represent our partners
- Assist event managers with setup, logistics, and team coordination
- Help track onsite activity, participation, and basic performance metrics
- Learn team leadership skills and eventually support training of new hires
- Maintain a high-energy, professional presence at all events
- Participate in paid leadership and event operations training

Schedule
