What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Recovery Advocate (Behavioral Tech) position at New Waters Recovery?
New Waters Recovery is a premier medical detox and mental health assessment program, that opened in late 2022.
In addition to medical stabilization from substance use, New Waters Recovery offers an in-depth psychological testing and assessment track for individuals in need of further diagnostic clarification and direction for effective ongoing treatment.
New Waters Recovery is seeking a dynamic and capable Recovery Advocate (Mental Health Tech staff) who is passionate about working with clients in the early stages of recovery from substance use. Recovery Advocate team members will work closely with our medical team.
Job responsibilities may include:
- Observe and Report for overall client care
- Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients
- Effectively communicate client information and updates to medical and clinical staff members as indicated
- Assists and performs group sessions under the supervision of certified staff
- Assists medical staff in daily tasks and vitals assessments per program policy.
The ideal candidate is one who is excited to part of an organization bringing a much needed service to the greater Raleigh NC area. This position will require an experienced self-motivated team player, possessing the willingness to assist in daily operations, as well as other departments.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
