The Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) with oversight and management of the Nursing Department. They will facilitate adequate staffing patterns as needed to provide quality resident care. The ADON provides in-service and training to nursing department regarding facility changes and/or performance issues. This person also serves as a key facilitator through new nursing orientation, annual in-service or training, and ensures clinical skills competency. They will also assist with evaluation of the nursing care provided by reviewing records, reports and CSR data to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in the “Compact State Agreement”
- DDNA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet criminal background and drug screening standards
- No disciplinary action at or above Written Warning
