What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide position at New Vision Services, Inc.?
NVS is looking for PCAs to provide in-home care to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries and/or other disabilities making them eligible for nursing home level of care. Duties include oversight, supervision, daily living skills, bathing, personal care, housekeeping, etc. Shifts available throughout Chautauqua County. High School diploma or GED required.
Those available to work third shift, weekends, and holidays encouraged to apply. Starting wage is $18.65 per hour.
Please note: In order to be considered for employment by NVS, you must:
1) Have a high school diploma or GED
2) Submit a completed application
3) Successfully pass the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check
4) Successfully pass a drug screen
5) Have a current PCA certification (or be available for the 40 hour class)
When called for an interview, please bring the following:
1) Copy of high school diploma or GED
2) Driver's License/Photo ID
3) Social Security card
4) Immunization record
5) 3 references
6) PCA certification (if applicable)
