Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintenance, landscaping, and construction. You will be involved in all three at 200 manufactured homes at five properties in Columbus MS Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm with one hour lunch break
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Use your own hand tools and our power tools safely and effectively to complete various maintenance projects.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, tree trimming, lawn care, gardening, and irrigation system management.
- Operate heavy machinery like excavators for construction or landscaping projects.
- Assist with tree care including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth.
- Support horticulture efforts by caring for plants, shrubs, and flower beds to enhance property aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general construction practices.
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety procedures and quality workmanship.
