Holiday Inn Express Pearl is dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and maintaining strong operational standards. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. This role works closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations, excellent guest experiences, and adherence to brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Directly supervise and support department managers and team members, ensuring high service standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with IHG/brand standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and lead service recovery when needed.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll review, and labor control.
- Review and support financial performance goals, including revenue, expense control, and forecasting.
- Handle guest issues with professionalism and prompt resolution.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, hospitality, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Experience with Opera Property Management System (Opera PMS) is required.
- Prior hotel management or supervisory experience strongly preferred (IHG or limited-service hotel experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proven track record of managing teams and delivering excellent guest service.
