Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain healthy lawns and gardens
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Use hand tools and machinery like shovels, rakes, excavators, and hedge trimmers for various landscaping projects
- Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of landscaped areas
- Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
- Contribute to the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls while adhering to safety standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment
- Passion for lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Familiarity with construction or excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
