This role would utilize their deep expertise in Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto technologies to support a DoD customer. The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain robust enterprise and campus network infrastructures.
**Key Responsibilities**
Travel up to 15% is required.

**Clearance Type Required**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and manage VLANs, site-to-site VPNs, and end-to-end encryption solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto network devices.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
- Mentor and support junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Bridge on-premise infrastructure with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ensure network security, performance, and reliability across all layers of the enterprise.
- Strong expertise in Cisco, Dell Networking, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Proven experience with: VLAN configuration and management, Site-to-site VPNs and encryption protocols, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), Layer 2/3 switching
- Experience integrating on-premise networks with cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
- Preferred: Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Preferred: Familiarity with SD-WAN and Zero Trust architectures.
- Bachelors degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field (Masters Degree preferred)
- CCNA Certification (Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, Dell Networking, etc. are preferred)
- 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
