AVAILABLE POSITION – Long Term Substitute Teacher – Special Education
Location – Washington Learning Center, 910 14th Street North, New Ulm, Minnesota
Job Summary – Complete classroom duties as directed by the regular classroom instructor and building administration.
Qualifications – MN Special Education Teacher License required with a desired emphasis in ECSE, EBD, ABS, and/or ASD. Teacher will work with Pre-K and kindergarten students and manage a caseload.
Compensation Package – Position Classification BA-1 offers a starting wage of $266.62 per day, based on experience. No benefit package is offered with this position.

- Proven expertise in social skills instruction and interventions
- Skilled in implementing play-based learning methodologies
- Well-versed in multi-tiered systems of support
- Proficient in organizing and executing individualized programs tailored for children
- Capable of collaborating effectively with a team to collect and analyze data
- Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and colleagues
- Experienced in training and guiding paraprofessionals
