Category E Stipend - Fall and Winter
Minimum stipend amount: $6,129 per season
Qualifications:
- Must meet basic IHSA standards, including possession of or ability to obtain Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License or show evidence of completion of the American Sports Education Program.
- Experience in coaching dance, or participation at the collegiate or high school level.
- Fall Season (sideline)
- Winter Season (competitive)
- Positive and motivated individual that is great with teens
- Preferred 4 years of dance experience
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of dance technique across all styles specifically Poms and hip hop with the ability to assess performance and provide clear, constructive feedback to support growth and skill development.
- Committed to attending all community performances for their team (including weekend and evening football and basketball games as well as weekend dance competition throughout Illinois.
- Strong communication skills
- Attend all winter season competitions, including coordinating logistics with event sites and transportation (availability for extended, full-day weekend commitments.
- Experience in choreography preferred
- Organizational skills
