We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to Circulate Orthopedic Operating Room (OR) cases. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work either 8 or 10-hour shift and work in a team environment. This is an exciting opportunity for the right professional who has a passion for orthopedic surgery, enjoys working with a variety of medical equipment and is at ease performing under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial assessment of patients prior to the surgical procedure.
- Ability to document within the Electronic Health Record.
- Assess, monitor and ensure patient safety and well-being throughout surgical procedures.
- Control the flow of information to various physicians, nurses, patients and families.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and is within safe limits.
- Participate in treatment decisions with surgeons and other medical staff members.
- Coordinate nursing care with multiple health care professionals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
