As a Maintenance Technician at New Story Schools, you will help create and maintain safe, functional, and welcoming learning environments for students and staff. You will perform general repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements that keep our schools running smoothly every day.

This position supports three locations across the New Story and River Rock programs:
- New Story – Reading Campus: 1300 New Holland Road, Reading, PA 19607
- New Story – Wyomissing Campus: 345 N. Wyomissing Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610
- River Rock Academy: 810 Brownsville Road, Reading, PA 19608
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in general maintenance or repair services
- Basic knowledge of drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between regional school sites
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across school facilities
- Maintain building grounds, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness
- Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly to prevent safety hazards
- Support snow removal, landscaping, and facility upkeep throughout the year
