Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team on a part-time basis in . In this vital role, you will provide personalized support and care to residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Support residents with mobility needs using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assistive devices to promote safety and independence.
• Monitor vital signs and observe health changes, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist residents during meal times to promote proper nutrition.
• Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, and conversation to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and behavior management techniques.
• Certification or training in First Aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for driving residents or running errands within the community.
