Role Description
New Start Capital is seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to lead and execute human resources functions for our firm made up of 3 companies, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and labor law compliance. This role is critical in shaping company culture and fostering a positive work environment. This position is fully in-office, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Oversee employee relations, support managers in performance management, and handle workplace conflicts and escalations with fairness and consistency.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, lead recruitment efforts, and manage the onboarding process for new employees.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies in alignment with company goals, ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions on HR best practices, diversity, compliance, and company policies to support employee growth and engagement.
- Performance Reviews & Coaching: Lead performance review processes and provide coaching to managers on effective employee feedback and goal-setting.
- Employee Engagement: Support and lead employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work culture.
- Benefits & Payroll Administration: Oversee employee benefits and payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely administration.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership on key HR functions.
- Compliance Education & Support: Provide managers and employees with guidance on employment practices from both a legal and organizational perspective, ensuring consistent policy interpretation and application.
- Conflict Resolution & Investigations: Manage escalated issues, conduct thorough investigations, and resolve complex employee concerns or misconduct, aiming for fair and compliant outcomes.
- Change Management: Drive change initiatives by supporting team adaptation, conducting training, and fostering a resilient workplace culture as the company grows.
- HR Systems Administration: Maintain and ensure optimal function of HR information systems, supporting employee data management and reporting needs.
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with leadership and employees as a strategic HR partner, providing subject matter expertise on employee relations, the employee handbook, and company policies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
· 8 years of HR management experience.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000 annually

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
