A New South Express Lumber Delivery Driver (Valid CDL Required) is responsible for transporting lumber and other building materials while providing professional customer service. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary for this position.

General Description of Benefits: New South Express, is the private & dedicated fleet for Canfor Southern Pine. We are seeking safety first, high performing drivers to join our Award Winning & Growing team!
We are seeking regional Flatbed drivers. The job involves hauling wood products from the Canfor sawmills to our customers in the dedicated region. Drivers will generally return home to enjoy their 10-hour break several nights each week, then back home every weekend.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Responsible for delivering material to our customers using the most efficient route available.
- Always make Safety the #1 priority, while complying with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Ensures that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service.
- Completes required orientation and safety training.

Job Requirements:

Requirements to be considered for the Position:
- One year of commercial driving experience, preferably pulling a flatbed
- An acceptable driving record, CSA Scores, and a Valid CDL license
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to participate effectively as a team member
